Vauxhall is celebrating another successful year at the Fleet World ‘Great British Fleet Awards’, after the Corsa was named ‘Best Fleet Supermini’ for the second consecutive time.
The fifth-generation Vauxhall Corsa was the UK’s best-selling car in 2021, with more than 40,000 models sold. It is available with a choice of efficient petrol and diesel engines or as the fully electric Corsa-e, which was highly commended in the ‘Best EV Supermini’ category. The zero emissions-in-use Corsa-e features a 50kWh battery that allows it to travel up to 222 miles on a single charge under WLTP testing. Supporting up to 100kW rapid charging, an 80% charge takes just 30 minutes.
Vauxhall enjoyed further success in the ‘Best Upper Medium Fleet Car’ category, where the Insignia was highly commended. With up to 61.4mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 120g/km, the Insignia is an ideal choice for fleet operators looking for an efficient and economical vehicle.
John Challen, Editor, Fleet World, said: “The Vauxhall Corsa continues to impress with low running costs, refinement and a driver-focused interior. It’s not surprising that it’s the UK’s best-selling passenger car!”
Paul Willcox, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “It’s fantastic for the Corsa to be recognised for the second year in a row by Fleet World as the Best Fleet Supermini. With low running costs, an impressive technology offering and range of advanced powertrains, including the fully-electric Corsa-e, the Corsa is perfectly suited to fleet operators looking for a highly capable and affordable vehicle.”
The Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards were announced today (29th March) at a ceremony in London. Fleet World’s Awards have been running for nearly 25 years, celebrating the very best products and developments within the fleet industry.
