As the nights draw in there is lots to do. For those who like something a bit spooky for Halloween we have gothic theatre, paranormal tours and fright nights for the grown-ups and for families there are creepy creatures and crafts, pumpkin carving, Halloween disco, haunted house, spooky music and more.
There are plenty of other fantastic autumn activities that are less spooky, including learning about the Gunpowder plot and its connections to Sandwell, a bioblitz during which you can discover the wildlife in our grounds, a fungus foray, live music, local history talks, craft activities for all ages and a model railway exhibition.
Charges apply for some activities and some events may need to be booked in advance.
Sandwell Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, Councillor Charn Singh Padda, said:
“From spooks to spiders, creepy crawlies to crafts there is something for everyone at Sandwell’s museums this autumn. It’s a great way to keep kids of all ages entertained and is just an example of the kinds of fun and entertaining events our museums offer through the rest of the year as well.”
