Launched in 2017, the awards utilise the thousands of dealer reviews left by CarGurus users to recognise those businesses offering exceptional customer service. To make the cut as a Top-Rated Dealer, UK dealerships must maintain at least a 4.5 out of 5-star average rating and recieve a minimum of five verified customer reviews through the year.
The Top-Rated Dealer awards are available to both CarGurus free and paying dealers. All dealers that meet criteria for the awards receive a badge to display in the window of their dealership and a digital badge to use on their website. Paying customers also receive a Top-Rated Dealer plaque to display in their dealership.
CarGurus’ Top-Rated Dealer Awards are not only the hallmark of a customer-friendly dealership, but an unbiased validation of a dealer’s excellent customer service. The award also provides consumers with an extra layer of confidence as they navigate the car-buying process with a named dealer.
