DS Automobiles is introducing the DS Digital Service Record, a fully digital service and maintenance record that gives owners instant access to their vehicle’s service history via the MyDS App.
As part of the DS Automobile ongoing drive towards a seamless ownership experience, the DS Digital Service Record will help owners plan and schedule their vehicle maintenance from their smartphone, as well as potentially improve the residual value of their vehicle through a digitally-backed maintenance record. The service record will need to be activated at a DS Authorised Retailer, after which it will automatically update after each service.
Service and maintenance undertaken by both DS Authorised Retailers and independent service centres will show up on the record, and owners can even add DIY work they’ve done themselves to the service record.
While owners are visiting their DS Authorised Retailer, they can benefit from a free 15-point Essential Safety Check. This service covers all vital components of a customer’s car, including the tyres, brakes and battery, with the option to upgrade to an Enhanced or Ultimate safety check to benefit from even further assistance.
DS Automobiles is also offering a complementary tyre check when visiting a local retailer, where DS technicians inspect the condition of the tyres, adjust their pressures if necessary, and advise when a replacement set might be needed.
DS Digital Service Record forms a part of a growing number of digital services offered by DS Automobiles. Customers can already view, configure and order their car from the comfort of their home via the DS Online Store. Customers can configure their DS model, obtain part-exchange valuations on their current car and tailor a finance quote via the DS Online Store before placing an order on their next car. A DS Concierge service is available throughout the journey, with product experts able to answer questions and help with queries.
